Hi, I’m Jehu Peters. I am a high school math teacher in Winnipeg, MB. I started this blog in 2013 to show how Math can be used to investigate everyday problems and occurrences. These posts are written for anyone with a basic understanding of Mathematics and a desire to learn.

When I tell people I teach math I often get bombarded with a series of questions such as “If I order a drink and a side dish and want to tip 20% how much will my bill come to after tax?” to which I respond “I teach Math, I am not a calculator!” I hope this blog embodies the spirit of this statement.
